I work in philosophy of science, metaphysics and philosophy of mind. Before coming to Rochester in July 2007 I wrote a PhD under the direction of Huw Price at the Centre for Time, Department of Philosophy, University of Sydney.

In Fall 2010 I will be co-teaching a new course on the history and philosophy of the interaction between science and religion with the evolutionary biologist H. Allen Orr. Please contact me if you would like more information about this course.
