I work in philosophy of science, metaphysics and philosophy of mind. Before coming to Rochester in July 2007 I wrote a PhD under the direction of Huw Price at the Centre for Time, Department of Philosophy, University of Sydney.

In Fall 2010 I will be co-teaching a new course on the history and philosophy of the interaction between science and religion with the evolutionary biologist H. Allen Orr. For more information see here.
