Current Research Interests

In epistemology, I am currently interested in investigating so-called "higher-order requirements" on epistemic justification, and the relationship between such requirements and epistemic defeat. I am also interested in the issue of whether or not experiences have propositional content, and how this relates to epistemic justification. Finally, one of my consistent interests is defending epistemic internalism, which is one of the truths about epistemic justification(!).

In ethics, my current interests include discerning whether or not there is a defensible version of satisficing consequentialism, and, similarly, whether there is a defensible version of divine command meta-ethics. So far, I'm inclined to think 'yes' on both counts.
