Areas of interest: I am interested in Metaphysics, Philosophy of Language, Epistemology, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind, Ethics and many other topics in Philosophy. I am also quite interested in non-philosophical topics — especially English literature.
As you probably know, since you’re
looking at my web page, I am a
graduate student in the philosophy department at the University of
Rochester. The department here is an excellent place to study analytic
philosophy. Before coming to Rochester I attended Western Washington
University, where I earned my BA in Philosophy and English. Western,
incidentally, is also a great place to study analytic philosophy,
especially if you are seeking an undergraduate degree. In 2002 I
graduated from Western and was recognized as the 2002/2003 outstanding
graduate in philosophy. I am interested in a wide range of topics in
several different fields of study. I am very interested in literature
and am a great fan of Melville and Dostoyevsky. I love philosophy and
I’m willing to study just about anything in the analytic field.
Just below this paragraph, there is a picture of Bree and me.
